This heart-centered class provides the foundations of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, a method of yoga which strengthens and purifies the body through synchronizing movement with deep breathing. Strength, stamina and concentration are some of the unique aspects of this practice. We will focus on the breath, on mastering Surya Namaskar A and B (sun salutation A and B) and most of the standing poses within the Primary Series. Finishing poses, deep relaxation and seated meditation will close the class.
