A mobility class that uses the exercises taught in the Mobility 101 workshop or in private session. These exercises help challenge your range of motion and add to and support your active lifestyle.
Mobility work is meant to expand your usable range of motion, which we lose both with age and our current lifestyle. The instructor puts a focus on joint health & longevity, body control, and how all of this is related to injury mitigation. The goal with this class is to educate but also supplement your daily fitness regimen and help make you more efficient and smarter about moving your body.
This is not a stretching class, although the word stretch is used, this is a very active class. This will be a workout, we will be challenging your body and applying force to your nervous system. If you are currently dealing with any injuries and experiencing pain this class isn't for you.
